It's been a month, and I'm working as a marketing assistant for a e-commerce compay here in Makati. I feel like I'm a bit bored withthe routine work but it seems that I will get used to this line of work and be able to develop my skills in better communicating with different people. It is fun having to talk with a lot of people, but not  that exciting because some of them are not that great to talk to. But since I'm learning the tricks of the trade I can't fully tell that I know how to talk and get along with people. I want to enhance my communiaction skills and be able to talk confidently infront of other people and have the courage to face every task with a smile or take it as a challenge. I'm getting used t the atmosphere and I wish thtta I do get to stay here for some time and then if I feel that they do not need my services anymore I will try my tricks elsewhere. But for now, I thank the Lord for giving me this big opportunity to learn how hard  real life is compared to the life in school. It takes a toll on you and you must be able to accept everything that is coming.

What an exciting time for you! I have to say that I really admire your attitude...it's not easy scoring a decent job to begin with and making it work can be one heck of an interesting journey. I have no intention of insulting you or your intelligence but I'd like to pass on a couple of things that I wish I'd been told when I entered the working world... Take the time to learn as much as you can about what your company does..different depts.,type of accounts, services offered to each...check around for any night classes that you think might help...let your boss know that you're willing to use your own time to increase your knowledge to assist your company...always stay busy..even if it's just straightening out your work area or picking up a few stray pieces of garbage outside of your building...look for an area that you can specialize in - as a former employer and employee I can tell you there are few things that bosses appreciate more than being presented with a problem by the owner and being able to say.."It just so happens one of my people just completed a course in Japanese"(just an example)...look for some area where you have a natural talent and let it be known...say you can design flyers or are great at organizing newsletters...above all else keep doing what you're doing - keeping a good attitude...if you're bummed out, blog it and let it go. I don't mean to insult you in any way but these things have helped me a lot. Good luck and drop by anytime you need some encouragement.
